Painting for me is one of the ways to express myself. Since childhood I loved painting, I even said that in future I want to become a cartoon artist, but ended up in ballet 🙂 This is probably why I have such surreal motives.
I adore Russian landscapists – Aivazovsky, Shishkin, Savrasov, Vasnetsova, as well as impressionists and postimpressionists.
I started to paint in oil after I received my position in the theatre. Now painting for me is a method of relaxation. I don’t look for inspiration, but if it comes, you can’t stop me from painting.
